Wholemeal Scones with Fig and Walnut Jam

Ingredients:
2 keys. wholemeal flour
1/2 key. of yellow sugar
1 teaspoon baking soup
1/2 teaspoon salt
Zest of 1 lemon
1/3 key. of butter
1 large egg
2/3 key. quark cheese
1/2 key. of dried figs
1/2 key. of walnuts
Quark cheese for brushing
Cinnamon and powdered sugar
Fig Jam with Walnut
Preparation
1. Add the flour, sugar, yeast, salt and lemon zest
2. Add the diced butter until the mixture forms crumbs.
3. Add the egg and quark cheese and beat the mixture at low speed.
4. When the mixture is homogeneous, add the dried figs in pieces and the broken walnuts.
5. Put flour on a surface and in your hands and make a circle with the dough. Cut into 8 triangles.
6. Brush with quark cheese and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
7. Bake at 200º for about 20 minutes. Serve hot with fig and walnut jam.
