Sugar Free Apple Muffins
►150 g of Natura Apple and Beetroot Jam;
►1 small apple (for decoration);
►2 tablespoons of coconut oil;
►6 tablespoons of agave syrup;
►1 teaspoon of vanilla essence;
►1 + ½ cups of wheat flour;
►1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder;
►1 teaspoon of baking powder;
►Zest of 1/2 lemon ;
1.In a bowl mix the jam with the coconut oil, agave syrup, vanilla essence and the egg. Add the lemon zest and the cinnamon to mix and blend everything.
2.Finally, add the flour and the baking powder and mix everything until you get a uniform dough.
3.Place the dough on some muffin shape tins, garnish with very thin apple slices and take them to the oven, at 180ºC for 20 – 30 minutes.
4.After baked, sprinkle them with cinnamon powder and let them cool completely before serving.
